Watercolour Classes in Dorking

In my classes you will have an opportunity to learn the basics of watercolour with positive teaching in a friendly atmosphere. Through simple exercises you will find out the best way to apply washes, good colour mixing, and descriptive brushwork, and you will develop your interpretive skills in a variety of subjects such as still life, landscape and floral subjects. Your understanding of the medium, your appreciation of art, and your drawing ability will all develop as you progress.

The classes are fun and informative, and the atmosphere is friendly and informal. Many students return every term to develop their skills and personal style.

L'Age Baston Painting Holidays ** new date in August!**

I am about to set off to L'Age Baston again tutoring for two weeks 15th - 22nd June, and 22nd - 29th June 2019.

This year I am also there for the first week in AUGUST, 3rd - 10th, and there are still some spaces, so do contact me quickly if you would like some more information, or contact Alex and John Waddington at L'Age Baston directly.

There are masses of things to paint and draw at the Chateau, with its gardens, barns, donkeys and sheep, and the wonderful French countryside beyond. In past years we have also visited La Rochefoucauld and Angouleme for some en plein air drawing and painting. It is all very relaxed (even time for swimming), the food is wonderful, and Alex and John are fantastic hosts. Do contact me if you would like some more information, or look at their website: www.lagebaston.com
